IL POST

Il progetto prevedeva la realizzazione di sei icone da implementare nel sito "IL POST", Blog di cultura e politica. Le icone sono state progettate rispettando il logo del sito, caratterizzato dalla lettera "s" in un font blackletter azzurro, ci si è ispirati all'iconografia dell'araldica medievale per immettere nelle icone l'anima della lettera. Il risultato è un'interessante connubio di manualità e tecnologia, con un forte carattere italiano.
Rispettivamente i simboli rappresentano le diverse sezioni del blog: MONDO, TECNOLOGIA, INTERNET, SCIENZA, ITALIA, POLITICA.

Beautiful People

ILLUSTRATION BOOK - pencil, watercolor and gouache

The five Chouette sisters are young and beautiful owls.

They fly happily in the woods stealing all the animals' heart.

But it wasn't always a happy time for them... when the oldest one was younger,
she fell for a scoundrel that won her heart during spring... and left her when winter came.

The two twins were very requested to parties and everybody asked them to marry,
but none could ever make the grade. The second to last one was wooed by a big owl....
that couldn't keep his promise.

The little one was the most beautiful and use to show off her shiny plumage... until her
eagle boyfriend got annoyed of that, and left her.

But they never got beaten, and kept make themselves beautiful to look for a good husband.

Until one day, the older and smarter sister addressed them: look guys, if we want to be
admired we need to be different and particular...

so they got themselves five fantastic hats that quickly became fashionable in the whole wood.
We don't know if they found husbands eventually, but those strange and colorful hats would always be remembered.

Design for social

Poster a sfondo sociale realizzati per il concorso indetto dalla ass. Design for Volunteering, pubblicato nella sezione "concorsi" del sito dell'AIAP.
Poster designed to be an icon for environment awareness ("Change" "Hearth I Love You") and for women rights ("I am Here too", "Make decisions"), I thought to do something different from a campaign poster, I tried to produce images that could become a symbol for such themes.
